My wonderful husband Scot & I have been married for
27 years. We've known each other for over 34. I was blessed to have married my best friend. He's been
a HUGE support to me through out the years. Scot's love for me and his endless commitment to hard work has enabled
me to feed the "entrepreneur animal" that I possess. Very few people are able to live their dreams, but
with his support, I am one of those fortunate few. We opened Taste of Home and the antique
shop Almost Home in 1999. After much prayer, we sold Almost Home in early 2008 and purchased and renovated
this great little 1901 house we are currently occupying. The restaurant opened on June 16, 2008. Taste of
Home went from a “lunch only” restaurant with seven employees to a “full service” restaurant open
six days a week with twenty-three employees. What an amazing journey. What a testament to God's
grace. We’re
looking forward to many years of continued service to the community.

It
is with extreme sadness that I tell you that one of our Taste of Home family has gone to be with the Lord. Hope Marie was
a server with us until she went off to Colorado Springs to attend college. She was loved by all who knew her. She died in
a tragic car accident and was not wearing her seatbelt. Hope was only 19 years old. Donations are being
accepted at Taste of Home and will be sent in Hope's name to The Renfrew Center, a residential eating disorder treatment facility
in Florida. 100% of the money raised will be used toward sponsorship of a young person in need of financial assisstance for
recovery. (cash, check, credit card & paypal accepted) Thank you in advance for your generous giving. God bless!
Please please everyone, buckle up.
